The Beans, a financial technology startup serving America’s Caring Professionals, announced today Founder and CEO, Melissa Pancoast, has been named a 2022 Inspiring Fintech Female by NYC FinTech Women.
NYC Fintech Women, a volunteer organization serving more than 4,000 members hosts their annual Inspiring FinTech Females to honor women transforming the FinTech ecosystem. This year’s honorees include 17 female founders as well as industry leaders in all areas of FinTech.
“Women in fintech are doing their part to transform the industry and support women at the same time,” said Michelle Tran, Co-Founder NYC Fintech Women. “The women recognized this year are diverse leaders across positions, locations, firms and seniority. It’s inspiring to see the dedication and passion from all winners on how they can impact women in fintech, in particular the need to increase representation and funding to female founders.”
Pancoast founded The Beans to combine advances in machine intelligence and psychology to transform the way hard working Americans relate to their finances. She began her career as a teacher and knows firsthand the challenges The Beans’ audience faces. The Beans engages Caring Professionals through their app and partnerships with major organizations such as Head Start and Teach for America.
