We are currently seeking a Sr. Data Warehouse Developer. This is a fully remote/work from home position.
Role and Responsibilities
The Senior Data Warehouse Developer is responsible for handling the delivery of data and information relating to the business intelligence of Southern Scripts and our Clients. They design, develop and maintain data warehouse and analytics architecture to meet our business analysis and reporting needs. The Senior Data Warehouse Developer is responsible for the successful delivery of business intelligence information to the entire organization. The Senior Data Warehouse Developer designs, develops and modifies relational database structures, relationships, data flows and data interfaces within the data warehouse as needed. The Senior Data Warehouse Developer is required to perform, but not limited to, the following duties and undertake the following responsibilities in a professional manner:
Experience with Azure Data systems, such as Azure SQL Managed Instances, 3 + years
Design stable and reliable code to import, export, and analyze mission critical data to and from relational databases and data warehouses. Candidate will be responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining new and existing Azure Analysis Services, SISS package, C# projects.
Design new Data Warehouse using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapsis, and other Azure Based Systems
Create and maintain data automation processes created in Azure Services.
Design new Snowflake/Star Schema for reporting systems to replace SSAS on premises using Azure SQL Services with an ability to troubleshoot SSAS.
Develop custom solutions to improve and automate business processes.
Work with PBM/Pharmacy-specific data such as eligibility, accumulator, and claims
Communicate with external customers and vendors to plan and trouble shoot data issues.
Work in an agile development lifecycle and collaborate with team members to deliver solutions.
Develop solutions in a testable fashion, work with QA on testing work items, Experience with TDD is a bonus.
Abide by all obligations under HIPAA related to Protected Health Information (PHI).
If a HIPAA violation is discovered, whether individually or by another, you must report the violation to the Compliance Officer and/or Human Resources.
Attend, complete, and demonstrate competency in all required HIPAA Training offered by the company.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, salaried position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional after-hours or weekend duties.
Travel
This position requires minimal travel from the Charleston area.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Undergraduate degree in Information System, Computer Science or related
Preferred: 5 or more years’ experience with SQL server
Preferred: 1 or more with C# and visual studio
Any experience with Azure Elastic Search is a bonus
