Position Summary: Securian Financial is looking for an experienced developer to join our CyberOps Threat & Vulnerability Management team! In this role you will work on projects that span a variety of technologies used across the enterprise, including ServiceNow, Veracode, and Prisma (among others).We are searching for an individual with previous professional application development experience who is eager to learn Cyber Security. This role will work closely with Securian’s application developers to understand and remediate vulnerabilities that present risk to our applications and data. Responsibilities include but not limited to:   Be the voice of “the developer” on the team, bringing perspective as to how development teams would best interact with our tools and processes.   Consult with application owners on the appropriate mitigations for identified vulnerabilities.   Identify and manage configuration of policies for application scanning platforms.   Build and manage infrastructure for Onapsis tooling in AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).   Manage and mature the ServiceNow applications Securian utilizes for management of vulnerabilities and findings.   Develop metrics and reporting to support our remediation teams and their leadership to ensure proper prioritization of this critical work.    Analyze threat intelligence to identify areas of concern for Securian as well as zero-day vulnerabilities that require emergency action.   Manage and configure infrastructure scanning platforms. Qualifications:   3+ years’ experience with application development in a large corporate environment using CI/CD pipelines such as Git, Jenkins, Puppet.   Self-starter eager to identify opportunities for improvement and drive those opportunities to solutions.   Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly, and adapt to working across different systems and programming languages. Preferred Qualifications:   Cloud configuration and deployment experience via Infrastructure as Code (e.g., AWS CloudFormation).   Experience with Cloud runtime services (e.g., AWS EC2, ELB, Kinesis, EKS).    API development experience.   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent work experience. **This position will be in a hybrid working arrangement.** Physical job requirements:   Ability to utilize keyboard, mouse and computer for up to 8 hours per day   Ability to work at least 40 hours per week   Ability to utilize telephone for up to 8 hours per day   Ability to perform grasping tasks throughout the entire work day (examples: handwriting, grasping of equipment/machines, paper manipulation, sorting, folding, handling stacks of paper) The physical job requirements described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
